How does the daily football quiz work?
Every day at 00:00 UTC there is a new mystery footballer from the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A or Ligue 1. You have 6 guesses. The league, position, nation and last season's numbers are shown from the start; his previous clubs open after 2 misses, the current club after 3 and the initials after 5. After each guess you see whether the club, league, nation, position, age and shirt number match the mystery player.
What do the colours and arrows mean?
Green with a tick means the clue matches. Amber with a dash means close: same continent for the nation, or within 2 for age and shirt number. Grey with a cross means no match. Arrows on age and shirt number show whether the answer is higher or lower.
Which players can come up?
Today's player is one of the regulars of the five big European leagues: footballers who start most matches, score or assist. Squads, clubs and shirt numbers are updated every day.
Can I play more than once a day?
Yes. The daily player is the same for everyone and changes once a day, but Practice mode gives you a new random player as often as you like.
